Layna M. Holmes, CPA is President and CEO of LMH Business Solutions, Inc. LMH Business Solutions, Inc. is a real estate investment and development company that has been in existence for the past three years. The company acquires, renovates, and wholesales distressed properties in urban settings. Over the past four years LMH Business Solutions, Inc. has bought and sold twenty properties including rehabilitation of four of the properties purchased. Layna graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University in May 2000. She graduated with a triple major in Accounting, Finance and Risk Management and Insurance. She obtained her license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in November 2002. She spent two years as an auditor working for Deloitte, a public accounting firm. Layna then moved on to a career in the non-profit sector as Assistant Controller for Germantown Settlement where she managed the organization’s $4.5 million budget as well as the financial management of the organization’s approximately 25 program contracts. Layna is a consultant providing accounting services to non-profits, small businesses and she works on auditing projects with other public accounting firms. Layna is an active member of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc – Philadelphia Chapter working as Coordinator of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Layna is also a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women where she is actively involved on the Political Awareness Committee.

Layna was the developer on a $1.9 million 12 unit student housing facility on Temple University’s campus. She and her partner are currently working as property managers for the facility.

Layna is also a part-time accounting and business instructor at a local business school where she enjoys expanding her student’s technical knowledge and motivating them to seek further education and to live their best lives.
